Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with knowledge of portfolio analytics and sales data for a broad range of investments products. The Senior Consultant will be part of a seasoned data distribution team, with a hands-on role collaborating across Portfolio Management, Product, Distribution, Marketing, Legal and Technology groups. As Allspring builds out its business, the requirement for an established Business Analyst has grown with the ability to design process and provide insights across the business functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This key role will enhance the existing business analysis capabilities of the team and will encompass a range of current and upcoming projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Allspring's investment and sales data footprint, key data sources, timing, methodologies, and usage across channels.
  • Identify business requirements and optimal means of implementation by liaising with other groups.
  • Collaborate in the analysis, planning and execution of complex, strategic, business problems and data management solutions.
  • Ensure consistent usage and dissemination of investment and sales data across Allspring channels.
  • Perform day-to-day functions including integrating data from multiple sources; building lineage models; analyzing data variances; summarizing and communicating to relevant teams for operational control and data quality management.
  • Act as a liaison between the business groups and IT, to analyze small change requests on existing systems.
  • Assist in the build of internal reporting for the team's activities to meet the information needs of management and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)Provide direction and mentoring to less experienced staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics.
  • 10+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience.
  • Including 5+ years working in roles within data integration / strategy for asset managers, and knowledge of investment products including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and/or collective funds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence all levels of staff, including senior management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.                     
    Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.         
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL, VB Script.
  • Familiarity working with Confluence Unity (leading data management & performance solutions) and/or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with international products and funds data.
